• The E:GRAN is designed for continuous feeding in inline operation. It has 2 material feeding systems which both can be used simultaneously:
  
  • The continuous ribbon edge and/or bleed trims are blown into the extruder feeding zone using an air separator to remove the transport air
  • Roll stock (start-up or changeover scrap) can be fed into the system using a roll feeder intake
• In the case of some coextruded films (e.g. with PA inner layer), printed or air cushion films a venting/degassing unit can be required
• If the E:GRAN is fed mainly with rolls that have been in contact with dust and dirt a manual screen changer is needed as a melt filter.
• An air pelletizer (AP) produces the pellets.
• Optionally,  a hot die pelletizing (HD) is available.
• Typically, NGR supplies the entire pellet transport equipment such as blowers, piping, cyclones, etc.

The special feeder intake design and the automatic extruder speed control characterize the E:GRAN recycling machine particularly:

• The NGR design principle guarantees gentle melting and produces pellets with minimum degradation.
• Screw and pelletizer speeds are controlled automatically. So the system is able to react automatically to any changes in material quantity due to edge trims and can therefore deliver pellets of uniform high quality.
• The minimal loss of physical characteristics allows one to use repelletized scrap at full value to virgin resin in many products.
• The E:GRAN can be fully integrated in a film production plant. This ensures safe and cost-effective inline operation.
• A high degree of process stability minimizes the influence of the operating personnel on pellet quality.
• Simple access to wear parts reduces scheduled downtime to a minimum.
• Robust design, high-grade materials and top quality manufacturing in combination with the finest possible controls and proven electronics, guarantee a long service life.
• Due to the excellent output rate in combination with low operating and energy costs the machine typically offers an extremely short payback period. We are pleased to calculate both your recycling operational costs per kg [lbs] and the payback period.

The E:GRAN recycling  machine is available with an extruder screw diameter of 50 mm [1,97 inch] and  a granulate output rate from 5 – 50 kg/h [10-110 lbs/h].
